I've been
writing most of my adult life, partly professionally. Since I
was the third woman on the Harvard Business School faculty, most of
my early writings were in the field of organizational behavior.
After that, my husband Rolf and I lived for more
than twenty years in India, five in Indonesia, and one in
Botswana/Lesotho. All of that has determined the things I am
interested in writing about.

Other Books by Ronnie Lynton:
The Days of the Beloved
This was first published by the University of
California Press, then picked up by Orient Longman, a prestigious
Indian publisher. Partly oral history, it evokes the era of a
charismatic ruler of the largest princely state in India.
My Dear Nawab Saheb
Biographical study of a nineteenth-century Indian
statesman in his struggle with the British. Also Orient
Longman.
Born to Dance
The biography of Mrinalini Sarabhai, India's most
famous classical dancer who was one of two women of good family to
rescue classical dance from the degenerated form of temple
prostitutes. Goes on to look at her daughter, Mallika, who was
chosen to dance for Pres. Clinton on his state visit to India.
Orient Longman.
Current work? Partly memoir, partly creative non-fiction.
I'm struggling to find the clothesline on which to hang these
