 I've been
writing most of my adult life, partly professionally. Since I
was the third woman on the Harvard Business School faculty, most of
my early writings were in the field of organizational behavior.
After that, my husband Rolf and I lived for more
than twenty years in India, five in Indonesia, and one in
Botswana/Lesotho. All of that has determined the things I am
interested in writing about.

The biography of Mrinalini Sarabhai, India's most
famous classical dancer who was one of two women of good family to
rescue classical dance from the degenerated form of temple
prostitutes. Goes on to look at her daughter, Mallika, who was
chosen to dance for Pres. Clinton on his state visit to India.

Current work? Partly memoir, partly creative non-fiction.
