We were antithesis
and synchronicity,
he shaped by theology
and I carved by science,
he molded by literature,
and I steered by ken,
left and right hemispheres united.
What we began together
remains unfinished
but complete.
His heart so full
it could not
be contained.
But a few months
knowing Bill
is a lifetime.
